![]() | Bijayalaxmi Swain PhD student I received my M.Sc in Biotechnology from Ravenshaw University (Cuttack), India and joined the Philipsborn lab as a PhD student in 2019. My research focuses on characterizing the function of interneurons involved in male song by behavioral experiments (song recording) combined with genetic manipulation of defined neuronal classes ( neuronal silencing, optogenetic activation, RNAi-mediated knockdown of neurotransmission genes). |
